Introduction
ICS is an inclusive school that enables all students to undertake
the full IB Diploma.
The Inter-Community School Zurich (ICS) is the longest established international school in the Greater Zurich area. A private co-
educational day school, we first opened our doors in 1960 and today provide a world-class inter-cultural education to students aged
18 months to 18 years.
Our language of instruction is English and all students learn German. We also support students with English language acquisition
through our ‘English as an Additional Language’ (EAL) programme.
ICS believes that all students can achieve success in the IB Diploma, and we enable them to reach this potential through providing our students with the full IB programme, from Primary, Middle through to the Diploma. We are a school that ardently believes in educating the whole child, and provide opportunity for every young person be it through Sport, the Arts, or Music. Ours is a programme designed to not only meet the needs of every learner but to exceed them.
