ipso! International School Rheinfelden is an accredited IB World School in the heart of Rheinfelden. Founded in 2014, we have grown into one of the region's most vibrant bilingual learning communities – international in our aspirations, local at heart.
Our programme unites the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) with the Swiss National Curriculum (Lehrplan 21, Canton Aargau), giving every child flexible pathways both within Switzerland and beyond.
Our purpose-built campus sits in the heart of Rheinfelden, just a short walk from the train station. It features bright and friendly rooms for art, music and design technology, expansive playgrounds and sports fields, and a large school hall with a full production-style stage. Small classes of 8 to 15 students and an active Parent Teacher Association make our International School a place where every family feels at home from day one.
German and English are woven naturally into every aspect of school life: in lessons, on the playground and in daily exchange with peers from over 20 nations. Native-speaking, internationally qualified teachers in every classroom ensure that students leave with near-native proficiency in both languages.

Primary School (Ages 6 – 12) Full-day, bilingual learning across Grades 1 to 6. Curiosity-driven, transdisciplinary and aligned with the academic requirements of Canton Aargau.

BEYOND THE CLASSROOM
Learning does not stop when the school day ends. Our dedicated after-school team offers structured activities in arts, sports and crafts, alongside a rotating schedule of specialist clubs including robotics, music, chess and digital exploration – all driven by the interests of the students themselves.
