Tandem IMS International Multilingual School

Tandem IMS is a leading multilingual school in Switzerland, supporting children and students from preschool through to the federal Matura. Across our campuses in Zurich, Zollikon, Küsnacht and Erlenbach, we offer a continuous educational journey from nursery, kindergarten and primary school through to Sek A+ and Gymnasium (Progymnasium and Kurzgymnasium). Our curriculum is designed to be multilingual in German and English, with French introduced from kindergarten onwards. A central element of our learning philosophy is Enquiry-Based Learning, which fosters curiosity, critical thinking and independent enquiry.

From Sek A+ and Gymnasium level onwards, these competencies are further developed through an innovative Design Thinking Approach, strengthening creativity, problem-solving and future skills. In addition, we place a special emphasis on Design and Humanitarian Studies. Pupils learn to develop innovative and sustainable solutions that combine aesthetics, functionality and social responsibility whilst taking into account key aspects of economics and sociology. In doing so, pupils learn to apply technology and creativity in a targeted manner to develop inclusive and ethical solutions that benefit both people and the environment.
